This privacy statement describes how Wonitrol collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or submit a quote request. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy legislation.

1. Who processes your data?

The data controller is Wonitrol, established at Stationsstraat 25, 1651 Lot (Beersel), Belgium. For questions you can reach us at info@wonitrol.be or on 02 378 18 41.

2. What data do we collect?

We collect only the data you fill in yourself in the quote form: name, email address, phone number, licence plate, a short description of the damage, the name of your insurer, whether you are at fault, your preferred contact channel, and the photos you upload. In addition, we keep a hashed IP address for anti-abuse purposes.

3. What do we use it for?

Your data is used solely to handle your quote request, to communicate with you about the possible repair, and to safeguard the security of our services. We send no marketing and do not share your data for commercial purposes.

4. How long do we keep it?

Quote requests and the associated photos are kept for a maximum of 365 days. After that they are automatically deleted. If your request leads to an actual repair, the statutory retention periods apply to the corresponding accounting documents.

5. Who do we share it with?

We use the following processors, all bound by a data processing agreement: Resend (email delivery, EU region), Cloudflare Turnstile (cookie-free bot detection), and our own server in the EU. We do not share data with third parties for any purpose other than fulfilling your request.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at info@wonitrol.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
